Two last minute additions greatly enrich the programme of the 2015 Course of the Erice School of Science Journalism and Communication.
Due to an unexpected commitment of one of the speakers, the schedule has been revolutionised: Roberto Battiston’s second talk, and his interaction with Larry Krumenaker have been moved from Tuesday morning to Monday afternoon (initially devoted to tourism/relax/work), and Yahia and Shannon have kindly accepted the last-minute invitation by the School directors.
Mohammed Yahia (editor of Nature Middle East, newly elected in the board of the World Federation of Science Journalists) will talk about “Science and media in the Arab countries. The Egyptian cure for HIV: what went wrong with the media?”.
Toby Shannon (from the Institute of Physics in London, coordinator of the International Year of Light UK) will talk about “The International Year of Light in the UK”
